Charity

We are in the early stages of developing a twenty five (25) charity membership network that encompasses the total spectrum of social service needs in Michigan relating to: Adult Services, Animal Protection, Children Services, Domestic Violence, Education, Environmental, Homelessness, Senior Services, Substance Abuse, and Veteran Services.

Living Wheels helps people to obtain much needed transportation.  In addition, we help other charities in our area to help the people they serve.  This is achieved through our unique charity association.  What makes our charity association membership unique is that we donate a portion of the proceeds from the sales of all vehicles to select charities with whom we specifically partner.  Not every nonprofit is eligible to obtain this unrestricted funding.  Chartities then use these funds to help more people in their specific mission.

Charities are carefully screened and selected to partner with Living Wheels.  The partnerships help us publicize our program throughout the community, which increases the number of cars donated to the program.

Currently, the following are the charity members:

CHARITY	SERVICES
	Performing Arts for Detroit Youth.
	Homelessness; Environmental (Blight)
	Serving Michigan Veterans through transitional housing, resource center, meals, clothing, and transportation.
	Vista Maria is a community resource for disadvantaged children and their families.
	The mission of Christian Leadership Academy.
